RiderCoach Prep Course Pictures 6th - 12th >
BRC Class Pictures 11th & 12th > MTII's RiderCoach Trainer Jennifer Hooper assists the Florida Rider Training Program's Louie Kyler in conducting a RiderCoach Prep Course, military style. Pensacola Naval Air Station and Cory Station C.I.D. hosted the course. The prep course finished with a live class conducted on the last weekend of the training. Students benefitted from hands on experiences with 9 RiderCoaches and 2 RiderCoach Trainers. Despite the sever temperature drop, everyone had a great time!

MTII Workshop > MTII RiderCoahes and RiderCoach Candidates came together of a curriculum workshop. MTII continues to offer the best in training by offering these professional development workshops for all of our RiderCoaches.

Thunder Cycle Design > A huge bash at Eddie Trotta's Thunder Cycle Design.

MARCH

3rd > NAS JAX Northeast Florida Recreational Safety Rodeo. The event focused on motorcycle safety and included safety awareness of other recreational activities. Approximately 1,500 people attended.

18th -19th > The Ft. Lauderdale Auto Show.

27th - 31st > 2006 International Motorcycle Safety Conference - The Human Element.
Hosted at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach, California. Safety experts from all over the world participate in panel discussions on training research, licensing, crash causation studies, training systems and skills development. The focus of the conference is The Human Element. The numbers, statistics and research data represent people, people like us, who love motorcycles. The conference provides an opportunity for the safety community to come together to find ways to protect our fellow riders and insure we all continue to enjoy what the roads ahead have to offer.

DECEMBER

RiderCoach Prep Course Pictures 27th - 3rd >
BRC Class Pictures 30th - 3rd > MTII's RiderCoach Trainer's Steven Zarbatany and Jennifer Hooper conduct this RiderCoach Prep Course along with assistance from the FRTP's RiderCoach Trainer Ray Zurenda. The prep course finished with a live class conducted on the last weekend of the training.

Rick Case Powerhouse BBQ > A big pre-Toy Run Kick-Off BBQ at Rick Case Powerhouse.

2006 Toy Run > The 19th annual Toy's in the Sun Run.

Vespa's 60th Anniversary Celebration > Ft. Luaderdale Vespa celebrates the 60th Anniversary of Vespa with a customer appriciation luncheon.

BGBA Charity Ride > The Black Global Bikers Association Charity Ride. MTII participates in the Black Global Biker’s Association, Inc. charity toy drive and fund raiser benefiting the Leon Stewart Foundation for blind visually impaired children.

The MTII Year End RiderCoach Appreciation Party > MTII's Year End Bash. Food and drink was followed by give away drawings for all the RiderCoaches Then the party really got started with a late night of dancing!

NOVEMBER

MTII's Shirt Donation to John I Leonard High School MTII presents John I. Leonard with student shirts in hope that they will assist students in need.

2006 Florida Motorcycle Dealers Association Summit MTII's president Steven Paul Zarbatany provides the FMDA an in-depth look at what impact Florida's new legislation will have on motorcycling. Effective July 1st, 2008 1. All persons registring a motorcycle will have to show proof of endorsement. 2. All first time applicants for endorsement must take a motorcycle safety course. These changes will have a huge impact on Florida's training community. MTII is poised and ready to meet the demand with MTII's Dealer R.E.P.P. The MTII Dealer Rider Education Partnership Program will allow dealers to get involved with rider training to meet the needs of their customers.

MAY

2006 > White Line Magazine Motorcycle Awareness Campaign 2006. Held at the Shell Factory in North Fort Myers. Also included Memorial for fallen riders.

10th - 21st > MTII's Jason Hooper travels to Kentucky for a RiderCoach Trainer Prep Course. Trainers from all over spend two weeks delving into the depths of the underpinnings of Adult Learning and the BRC curriculum. The course completes with conducting a RiderCoach Prep Course which finishes with the conducting of a Basic Rider Course.

13th > Port Charlotte Harley Davidson Ladies Day Out

27th > Abate Annual Memorial Day Celebration.

JUNE

3rd > West Palm Beach Annual Motorcycle Show 06. Held at the West Plam Beach Convention Center.

19th - 25th > RCP June 2006 : RiderCoach Prep Course June 2006! RiderCoach candidates begin their week long right of passage. Their goal is to become the newest RiderCoaches in Florida. For their last weekend, canidates get to teach a live novice class. Click here to see the class pictures.
